Does anyone know of a site that i could download crow sounds, like maybe a crow and owl fight? I have tried western-rivers and i cant download them i dont know why, i think my computers too slow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif. But the sounds have to be free, and at least somewhat good quality. Any sites are better than none so if you know of one please tell me it, i would appreciate it.

Western Rivers has the best crow sound I've found. It is their Crow (2) sound. I think it's about 2:50 min of crows. Find a way to download it, it is that good. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif The last day of our crow season, I shot 5 with no decoys, only backed up into a clump of cedar trees, my cheapo mp3 player and WR crow 2 sound.

I'm not sure how good the WR Crow (2) sound is. I tried to go the cheap/free route and download a bunch of sound files but just about all that I found for free are of sketchy quality. They are either not very clear/too short/full of background noise. I'd say just bite the bullet and pay $15 bucks for an actual cd. I bought a Bob Arohnson cd and a Johnny Stewart Crow cd. They both sound awesome and are light years ahead of any free sounds I've found online. The only question we have is how do they get the sounds on the tapes!? For example, the coyote ki-yi sounds like a dog crying with its foot in a trap. So did someone really record a dog with its foot in a trap for 15 minutes? Sure as heck sounds like it from listening to the tape!

I've used a lot of crow sounds over the years, including some of the free ones. But, my old standby is the Johnny Stewart Crow & Owl Fight. You might just consider purchasing that one and then start dropping crows. It will last you a life time and you will cut through all the hassel of trying to find a good free one.

In my IMHO it's great! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif I'm on a dial up also and it "saved" clear to my computer. WR has a few crow sounds and crow(2) was the best. There's no static or other noise. Just crows fighting something. And it's free. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
