Custom holsters?

Looking for recommendations for a custom leather holster. Been searching around online and not really coming up with much that intrigues me. Id like a good quality, unique, one off leather holster for my edc woods sidearm. Any suggestions?

S&w performance center model 627 .357 mag 5" barrel (8 round cylinder.) Its my go to gun for open carry in the woods. Does a lot of miles on my right hip. I have a serviceable holster for it, but im just a sucker for one of a kind hand crafted items, and id like a real nice custom holster for it. This gun has been with me for a few bad situations, and i think it deserves a nice holster. It would spend 120-150 days per year on my right hip while i do my thing in the mountains.

Nice revolver... Milt Sparks 200AW for a belt holster. Diamond D Guides Choice chest holster for all around comfort and versatility.

I have a diamond d chest rig for it. Usually hip carry though. Im looking for a one of a kind type hip holster. Hand crafted, personalized touches.

There is a lot of people that belong to the Single Action Shooting Society that are in the know with the custom holster makers around the country. Check out their web site and go from there...good luck.

You might check locally for a saddle maker. I make some gun leather in my shop and build to customer specs. They are one of a kind, I'd be glad to help, however I need the gun to wet mold the holster and I'm too far from you. Good luck!

Try Simply Rugged Holsters.

I have a Hip holster with a chest rig from Rob for my 45 Colt Blackhawk and it is fantastically done.
Mine is pretty basic, but he does some pretty fancy custom rigs too.

I bought a leather holster for my Dan and Wesson a year ago from Black Hills Leather.
He is located in Laredo Texas.he did a great job on the holster and a very nice guy to
deal with.check his website and Facebook for some of his work.
I bought the Duke left handed holster.

J.W. O'Rourke ostrich leg and tiger shark pancake holster. I use one of his field holsters for my N-frames, but have a number of his pancake and IWB (he calls them Inside Pants "IP" holsters).

A custom holster - that usually means spending a little more money and not getting much in return, if you don't know exactly what you are looking for.

If you want something different, maybe think about a flap holster for your revolver with an engraving pattern to your liking.

I've purchased a couple "custom" holster over the years, and a pancake is a pancake and the others are pretty much similar to each other - only difference is the type of material (exotic leathers) and engraving.

Good luck in your quest.
