I just got mine figured out, and the 2.0 app has a dot option.Does anyone have experience with uploading a reticle for the Infiray Bolt TL35 v2 and customizing it? If so, I would appreciate your thoughts about it and maybe a simple tutorial.
Alf,I think it's kinda chicken shit to pay over 5 grand for a scope, them have to pay 10 bucks for a custom reticle.
To top it off, the Iray app is done by a third party, & there's issues for some people that won't let you buy the custom reticle, me being one of them.
I've only been out a couple times, & have used it both times. So far, I see no reason to not use it.Alf,
Do you use the custom reticle every time you hunt now? Is that custom reticle just another reticle that you can choose from? I have TH50v2 and I’ve been debating on building a custom reticle. Thanks
All you'd have to do is just use the center dot, & not fill in the rest of the custom reticle drops. Thanks, Alf. My main interest is just a simple center dot. Not sure if that can be done or not. Appreciate the info.
My last question I need to test is, if I switch the scope to my #1 gun, change the reticle to it's "A" profile, will the custom reticle be automatically zeroed, same as the "regular" reticle? I'll do it after this season ends.
Cool, thanks.Yes, the custom reticle should follow whatever zero profile you switch to. At least it does in the RH50R. However you can only have one custom reticle across all zero profiles. You can’t have one with differently spaced hash marks in profile A and then a different one in B, C, you get the idea.
So a dot (round) is available instead of the small center crosshair? All you'd have to do is just use the center dot, & not fill in the rest of the custom reticle drops.
The windage dots would still be there, but you can move them quite a ways apart like my pictures show.
In the original app, no, in the new 2.0 app yes.So a dot (round) is available instead of the small center crosshair?
