Custom Reticle Upload Infiray Bolt TL35 v2 ?

Does anyone have experience with uploading a reticle for the Infiray Bolt TL35 v2 and customizing it? If so, I would appreciate your thoughts about it and maybe a simple tutorial.

I saw that one, Dane. Question: Can you configure a dot reticle instead of the little center crosshair type? And make the dot as large or small as you want? I would like a long stadia line horizontally, a short vertical line and a dot in the center. I would like to size the dot to match a coyote body size. Below is the type of reticle I am speaking of. I use this one in my old Pulsar Apex XQ38.

I find the reticles in the Bolt (center part) either too bold and large, or to fine and small. I like reticle #3 in the Bolt that is a crosshair, but the center crosshair is so small and fine that I think my aging eyes would have trouble seeing it when hunting at my baitsite, and waking up with sleepy eyes to take a shot. The other reticle centers are a cross that is bold and too big.

Hmm, not that i recall. I think you are only able to tweak what you see in the video. I set mine up with a 100 yard zero and a hash mark for 200, 300, and 400 yards. You could play around with it and see if you can come up with something you like.

I think it's kinda chicken shit to pay over 5 grand for a scope, them have to pay 10 bucks for a custom reticle.

To top it off, the Iray app is done by a third party, & there's issues for some people that won't let you buy the custom reticle, me being one of them.

I just got mine figured out, and the 2.0 app has a dot option.

Thanks, Alf. My main interest is just a simple center dot. Not sure if that can be done or not. Appreciate the info.

Alf,
Do you use the custom reticle every time you hunt now? Is that custom reticle just another reticle that you can choose from? I have TH50v2 and I’ve been debating on building a custom reticle. Thanks

I've only been out a couple times, & have used it both times. So far, I see no reason to not use it.

When you scroll down the reticle options, the last one is the custom reticle.

When I bought the scope new, I saw the custom reticle option, but couldn't figure out how to access it. When I called them, it was in the works, but not available yet.

The last time I checked final zero, I shot both the custom & the previously zeroed reticle back & forth at 1, 2, & 300 yards, both on the money.

My last question I need to test is, if I switch the scope to my #1 gun, change the reticle to it's "A" profile, will the custom reticle be automatically zeroed, same as the "regular" reticle? I'll do it after this season ends.

All you'd have to do is just use the center dot, & not fill in the rest of the custom reticle drops.

The windage dots would still be there, but you can move them quite a ways apart like my pictures show.

Yes, the custom reticle should follow whatever zero profile you switch to. At least it does in the RH50R. However you can only have one custom reticle across all zero profiles. You can’t have one with differently spaced hash marks in profile A and then a different one in B, C, you get the idea.

Cool, thanks.

I compared the drops on my 3 guns I have in my profiles, and one is within an inch flatter, the other one was 1 1/2 inches flatter at distance.

No reason a guy couldn't tweak to match when switching guns & profiles

So a dot (round) is available instead of the small center crosshair?
