My ears were burning... did someone mention my name?   /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif  I have been busy making turkey calls and dealing with my chemo and radiation treatments and just haven't taken the time to get on the forum in the past few months.  I won't tell you that my calls sound better than the rest of the calls on the market, but I can tell you they have been the demise of many a turkey in numerous states in the past 3 years that I have been making calls.  I have found from experience that different people (callmakers and call users) want to hear different sounds from their calls.  Different individuals play their calls with different techniques that can produce very different sounds from the same call.  With that said, I love the sound that I get from my calls. I had a chance to meet Mike Pentecost, the founder of Woodhaven at the NWTF convention in Nashville last February.  I asked him to run one of my aluminum calls.  With his technique, my call sounded like crap.  He asked if that was the technique I used to run my call.  I demonstrated how I run my calls for him.  When he used the technique that I use, he got the same sound that I get from the call.  He commented that it was a great sounding call afterwards.   /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

If you are looking for a particular sound from a call, I will do my best to build you a call that creates that sound.  Customer satisfaction is top priority for me.  I have found that a happy customer often means additional orders in the future.  I have sold calls to folks in most of the states (including Hawaii and Alaska) and several to a guy in Canada.  Pictures sent from hunts in 2005 and 2006 are proof positive that my calls will get the job done.  Feel free to check out my site at www.lightsoutcalls.com  I am an HOB seller on this site, so I hope it is o.k. to post the web address.
