CZ Model 3 Rifle Questions

I have a chance to purchase a new CZ model 3 for a good price and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these rifles? He only has to calibers available the 270 wsm and 300 wsm, I don't have any experience on either of these rounds either so any info on them would also be great. These are good looking rifles and they feel good, but it seems like I remember reading somewhere that there were some quality/accuracy issues with them, any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
The CZ model 3 is not a "true cz". It is actually made in America by a custom gun company. I liked the looks and cut as well. The only negative I have heard is that the action is cast, by the same company that cast actions for ruger, and the wood to metal finish is not up to cz standards. I have both a cz 452 and cz 527 and I am very pleased with both. Hope that helps a little
 
Thanks for the info czman, I also like my cz's I have five 527's and one 550. I am a little concerned with the fact that the model 3's were only made in 2005 and have already been discontinued.
 
the CZ model 3 and the montana gun company, was a great idea that just didn't happen, too many problems with vendors and inconsistant quaility control, in the CZ model 3's case I don't think they could deliver the rifles in a timely manner. I would look the gun over very very closely, check for fit on everything, if it checks out, I would offer less money, and it should be a good rifle
 
If I end up buying one I'll be getting it for discontinued dealer price which is $399.99, so I don't think I'd get it cheaper.
