Has anyone here had any luck hunting coyotes in Daniel boone National forest? While deer hunting there this year I saw some coyote tracks and plenty of droppings with bones and hair.
 
i havent called in the forest but i turkey hunt there alot. while turkey hunting i seen 5 diffent yotes. i ended up shooting one after it attacked my decoy. but this was in the area east of morehead.
 
yeah duster i hunt turkey hunt that area but havent got to try calling there yet. i also hunt around the cave run lake area. ive seen alot of coyotes there will turkey hunting and im looking to give it a try pretty soon

Yeah Lawhorn, We'll hook up after the Holidays, when it gets good. I know my way around the lake pretty well. Used to hunt grouse up above the old Poppin Rock tunnel. Craney Creek, Jones's Ridge, Triangle Towers. Maybe by then, I'll have my remote back.
