I shoot a ton of chucks,75 last yr. mostly with a 243 or a 22-250, that being said a 22lr is what you wanna use to dispatch these garden marauders. 6-6:30pm sit n wait they'll be out n take a head shot,if ya miss he'll be alot harder to get after that.good luck!!
