Decoy and aux jack on foxpro

So I made a decoy that runs off of a mono plug. Why doesn't it work plugged into the auxiliary jack on my foxpro? Originally I designed it to run off a battery pack. But thought running it off of the foxpro would be cool. Help!

unless I am reading your post wrong.the aux jack on the foxpro is just an on off switch. It doesnt supply DC power your decoy will still need a battery pack.

I think lowtempguru is correct. When you plug a Foxpro Black Jack or Jack Attack decoy into the aux port, you still have to turn the decoy on with its switch, and then turn it off and on with your remote.

Ok that explains it.

So is there a way I can make this work if I have the battery pack? How do I wire it in?

I assume that if you have your decoy unit equipped with its own battery source, and it will come on and off with its own switch, it would then work with your Foxpro ecaller remote. I'd recommend you giving the technicians at Foxpro a call about this just to be sure. Better safe than sorry.
