Diamond Dog food Recall

I have been working k9's for over 20 yrs. now and tried about every brand of dog food (decent Type)not cheap type food and have fed Diamond also and did for a long time but I have always went back to Purina . There Purina One and Pro plan is overall about the best I have ever used and you can purchase it( Purina One) at grocery stores if your traveling and run out .
I'm sorry about the people losing dogs to poor quality food and my heart goes out to them . It's like losing a Family member, sometimes Worse.

It's all over the rabbit and coon hunting boards.
I used Diamond for over two years and then this summer started having trouble with my dogs having poor coats, less stamina, more waste so I contacted Diamond.
They said they were having trouble with the ash content in the food, but were trying to iron it out.
After a month or so longer I switched over to Purina Hi Pro and my dogs have never looked or ran better.

I do feel for those that are losing their dogs due to this unfortunate mishap. Some of these dogs are Field champions, which makes it no more a loss in your heart, but it does to the pocket book. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
