I honestly feel like a power howler is a great way to go for someone starting out. You might not ever want to use anything else once you get good with it. I also think the learning curve is shorter with one vs anything else, all things being equal. Also, if you ever want to step up to a custom version of one, there’s a couple guys on here that do that.
