No. The American Crow does not get that big. But there can be the ones that occasionally do. The crow and raven are two different species. The raven has a larger bill and some feathers that come out on the bill at the base. It has a deeper, more "froglike" croak than the crows "caw". Also a raven is more like to soar in the air like a red tailed hawk than a crow. A raven also has a wedge shaped tail. narrower at the base and widening out near the tips.
