Raven's I've heard are supposed to be the smartest bird in the world but I think they need to work on teamwork. If I see a crow in a field and attempt to get a shot off, more than likely another crow will see me, start making a racket and then every crow is airborn.

I've shot two ravens at just under 300 yds in the last week.I think it is easier to shoot ravens with a rifle than crows because they don't seem to have any other ravens watching around. I've shot four ravens this year and all four were by mistake. We are allowed to shoot them here but I feel crows give them enough problems so I don't intentionally shoot them.

Raven's are a huge interesting bird. They seem to walk with their legs attached to their shoulders something like a larger bird of prey. They have a giant beek in comparison to a crow and soft hair on their head and neck. I like them alot and curse and swear when I get down the field and find that I've shot another. I guess I just have to smarten up and get a little more patient before I pull the trigger. I hate crows!! Ryan
