Direct TV and the NFL...refund

Yeah... Sounds like they're trying to keep some subscribers hanging on by offering the refunds for their bread and circus TV instead of having people just cancel the whole thing which would be the wiser option.

I got rid of the whole cable subscription right along with the idiot box about 5 years ago. I'll never own another television nor will I ever support in any way the anti-gun un-American NFL.

I discontinued my TV subscription about 15 years ago. I did not like paying to watch violence, advertising, idiocy, and news media propaganda. That was 90% of what I was paying for. What few programs I got that were worth watching, did not justify the cost.

After I quit watching TV, my stress level dropped and I felt more at peace. I am also not desensitized anymore from watching violence. There is no way I could go back to watching TV again. It is morally disgusting, depressing, and constantly negative.

What is becoming of the role models for our youth... put back into perspective there are far more offensive things happening than what these yahoos are doing. They did it full well knowing they will get press coverage over their shenanigans. I really don't give a [bEeeP] if they stand, roll around and rub sheet in their hair, I just don't care.

Why is the media not reporting on Raqqa Syria? The fall of the ISIS caliphate is a big deal.

same reason they're not covering the church shooting from the other day - doesnt fit narrative or message. so they just ignore it. or give it a 10 second cut right after a commercial break once and go back to pounding their message dejour into the mushy skulls of the masses.

Wife and I dumped cable about 5 years ago, but have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. We've been binge watching The Andy Griffith show. I'm only 33 years old, so I never watched much black and white. Usually I'd catch the Munsters after school, and Happy Days occasionally. They sure don't make sitcoms like they used to.

As far as sports go, I haven't watched a sport in over ten years. Don't intend on it, either.

Because, that would show that Obama didn't want to fight, because in less than 8 months Mattis and Trump has basically defeated ISIS, a group that Obama and team created and armed.

Can't cover the story or a Sudanese muslim killing Christians or that would support the call for travel bans. So ya, you can't talk about that one either.
