Do you put your X24 on a tripod?

Just curious how many use tripods on a X24. I use to but it’s easier to just throw it over my shoulder and go. Last year I used the Primos tripod but it’s a little cumbersome hauling around. I haven’t noticed any difference on the coyotes I’ve been calling in with or without the tripod. I can say that using the tripod did seem to increase the distance my remote would work.

I did when I first bought it, but kind of a PITA to carry, so I ditched it soon after.

My Fusion I hung on a shortened plastic electric fence post, that worked pretty good until the ground froze.

I used to put my caller on a 12” or so tripod, but stopped doing that. I call mostly in areas with very low vegetation And I dont think elevating the call made a difference.

I rigged up a small flexible leg tripod for my Fusion caller. Not for elevation, but to keep it from sinking into the snow. Kind of a caller snowshoe. I have not seen a need for a tripod with my X2S caller. I can keep it on top of the snow in most cases with the folding feet on the caller.
