Do you use a portable blind?

I did a search, but came up with ZIP. So do you use a portable blind to hunt predators? I was looking at one at Sportsmans Warehouse, and they look cool, could be used in some instanses....what do you think?

Don't bother my friend. Get yourself so good camo and stay still....you'll be money. I think the ability to see and be mobile is more important than the usefulness of a blind. However, I have a friend that hangs a piece of camo cloth from a tree branch that helps conceal his location. It works great for him.

I agree, A blind is just that it makes you BLIND to some of the things that you need to see. Further more if it has just been put up then it is not normal. Not being normal gets you busted. Good camo and being still is the way to go.
 
I'm always afraid to try then because the ones that Ive seen have looked to me like they would just be huge human sent releasers. I just would hate to loose a shot because they smelled my fabric blind or got spooked because of a gust of wind moving it when there already leary in an area.
 
I use one for deer hunting often. Bad weather such as rain or wet snow. I have the ameristep outhouse. It folds up and fits into a bag that has shoulder straps. I have walked several miles with it on my back.

Here is how I look at it. If it gets me to go out on less than perfect days or stay out longer, it is worth it. Up here in Michigan I know several guys who use them and have had deer within ten yards of the blind.

I do not use it on nice days. But it is behind the seat just in case. Well worth the $80.
 
Last weekend had a coyote come into the call, and looked right at ol FurHunter and I...I was in the Military camo...and sitting very still with face mask, and gloves, and the coyote scaned our way 2 times, but didn't spook and continued cautiously into the call, where it was bang-flop. We were conceled in some low rocks.

But when I saw the blinds for $79...I thought that might have some use...Thanks for the input...I think I will spent the $$ towards a new scope, or more sounds for my Prey Master. Thanks again
