does moon phase affect predators?

when the moon is bright animals move around at night, and sleep during the day.
not only is coyote hunting more difficult during full moon but also deer and elk etc...

I feel sure that coyotes feed heavier when the moon is bright, as they can see better under those circumstances. However, I am not sure it really has that much affect on coyote hunting success. I have killed a lot of coyotes on days following full moon nights. If you are set up right close enough to the coyotes, they are apt to show up. Nothing is guaranteed just like days after dark nights. Best time to go coyote hunting is when you can.

call coyotes 2 hours before the moon rise and 2 hours after the moon sets, if this is in sync with the sun you have the perfect storm won't matter when the moon is rising or setting. but most important of all just get out here and call, make sure there are coyotes in the area and you will get one in.

trappers claim that the change in pressure and gravity pull on the coyote makes them restless and keeps them moving.
