Solid mountain cur. This is my first year hunting with a dog. I do occasionally scare a coyote off, but been fortunate to seem to still be getting good action regularly.
even if I run one off. I don’t look at it as an issue. My dog gets to see a coyote, she still gets out there and try’s working it. I see it as an opportunity to get her exposure and confidence. And that way when I call that coyote again when they are more aggressive, she’s prepared.
And just comes down to that she’s my hunting buddy, I don’t feel like I could go with out her.
