Trying a new tactic. What's your thoughts? Set is along a dead end road in the middle of a section.

Traps will be covered of course.

Looks good, I put my right trap 8-10 inches from the hole, Pull the left trap back about 12-14 inches.. But your right trap has a good off set to it.. To throw a little more eye appeal & too get them working the set hard, add you a couple more holes to the side of your main hole there, get them working wondering which hole has the smell.. You should connect with that set.. Good Luck..

I set another double trap dirt hole set today in the middle of a section on the edge of some crep. Coyote tracks in the area. Even dug a second hole.

Covered traps after photo.

i like them level around 3lbs of tention and crisp no travel to light can cost you coyotes cats toe catches the pan raised up that high you might have pullouts i also like it levvel to make my cover level i dont like a hump over the pan you can level your pan simply push the post forward dropping the pan or close the eye of the dog to do the same
hope this helps
