DPMS Acquired By Cerberus Capital Management Affiliate

Rumor has it that they are trying to buy up all the black rifle companies they can so they can then limit them to only police and military. I read somewhere that the CEO of Cerberus was quoted saying that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Then why would they just come out with the R15 camo dipped and specificly intended for the hunters? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Look at the brighter side of it, it's American money. Not some foreign country or someone from a foreign country, like we have Winchester/Browning/FN, who is foreign owned and has the M-16 service rifle contract. Or Burris that is owned by Beretta. And the list goes on and on.

Encouraging details about the CEO of Cerberus, Stephen Feinberg, see page 5.

Feinberg has traded his tennis rackets for rifles. His new hobby is big-game hunting. On family trips to Colorado, he leaves before dawn, comes back midday, and takes his daughters on a hike. A few trophies have been sent to the taxidermist’s for mounting. “My guy friends are always, like, sketched out,” Lindsey says. I don’t want to be with you. Your dad is going to shoot me.’ I’m like, ‘No, he’s not like that. He’s really chill. He’s a really laid-back guy.

Maybe they are looking to make money off of the anticipated gun sales right before the election?

Im not a fan of one company having all the cookies though!

Anyone happen to know who the COB for Cerberus Business Investments is? You wouldn't guess in a million years.

that would be former vp Dan quayle.

Very good my friend. The guy has a nose for big bucks apparently.

He is into the investments and marketing game big time.

He is also very pro 2A or was when he was VP.

Best wishes, Bill

Cerebrus is run by a lot of pro firearms people, that is a good thing. But I have a problem with any one company have8ing a monopoly on American made firearms. And corporate Directors can change.

Isn't this kind of old news? It happened way back in December.

My huntches tell me that Remington will be coming out with some differnt AR type rifles in various calibers after the success of the R-15.
