I've been digging around on AR suppliers websites trying to find all of my options for piecing together my first lower. Last night on DPMS's website I stumbled across their Lo-Pro receiver. Pretty neat looking with the forward assist missing. Anyone have any experience?

I have a Low Pro classic. They don't have a forwaqrd assist or a dust cover. It will shoot .5 groups at 100yds,if I do my part. 16" heavy barrel. Was my first AR I bought it new at a gun show to see if I would like the AR's. I've been well satisfied with it. I don't think you can go wrong for the price. I paid $650 for the whole gun.

Good heavy recievers. Good price, too, $81 on Midway. No forward assist or dust cover to buy. I have two hi-rider recievers, they are the same except with an eop.

I also have the cheapy RGUNs upper. Shoots better than the price point. No problems here. I did change the handgurds out

The Lo-Pro is extruded VS. forged. It's also made from 6066-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy VS. 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy which there other uppers are made of. I have a Panther Sportical which has the Lo-Pro upper and am satisfied with it. It is light and accurate which is all I want in a reliable gun. I'd buy another one.
