I started many years ago predator hunting with a Bushmaster M4. Straight up, carry handle, M4 Bare bones. Then I started attempting to improve it. Did the trigger, scoped it and that was when it's limitations started showing up.
You only have to shoot minute of coyote. The Mil-spec on an M4 is 3 MOA which can get it done for a coyote. Of course, that much of a variance does suck up a lot of your kill zone.
Might be a bit short, but you can get extended butt pads to accommodate, or just learn to shoot it.
But there are plenty of builders that can get you into something better for a good price that can out perform that Oracle.
