Introducing the DPMS Prairie Panther .223 Remington. This rifle is available in Mossy Oak Brush and King's Desert Shadow. It is equipped with a 20" 1x8 twist, stainless steel, fluted, teflon coated heavy barrel, carbon fiber free float tube, A3 flattop, skeletonized stock, DPMS 2 stage trigger, and a Magpul winter trigger guard.

I think you should send that one down to the PM Hunt next week so we can do a 'field test' and review on it..
 
Its not listed on the DPMS site yet, but judging the others on the site Id say $1000+ & .223 only.
Im sure its going to be around 8 lbs in weight.
The carbon float tube & stock will lighten it up a bit.

I like it, but want it in 1/9" twist & 18" bbl. meself.

Who manufacturers your barrel on this rifle? Also, what are you getting for accuracy? I like the 1in8" twist. It'll shoot most all the heavies and still shoots the light bullets very well.

I like the faster twist offered on this gun. It will let you build up some good loads on the heavier bullets which will help extend your range. It is pretty easy to find the 1 in 12 and 1 in 9 twists, so I like the fact that DPMS went with this barrel.
