Ducks/Geese for calling and/or decoying coyotes?

Here is why I even ask:

I've seen a coyote in the middle of a goose decoy spread before, so something (either the goose decoys, calling or the combination) had him attracted to where we were hunting geese.
And we all know that one of the benefits of hunting these predators is a lower mortality rate for the ducks/geese. So we know that ducks and geese are targeted by the coyotes.

Obviously the tactics of luring fowl would be modified to fit the prey...

So has anyone ever used this method to lure in the coyotes or maybe even bobcats?

I can say from experience that it should work fine. We were waiting for the first flight of geese to wake up so we hadn't even started calling yet, but as we sat there out of nowhere, the most beautiful blonde coyote came hauling butt out of the grass and nailed one of the decoys. It was actually kind of funny because you could almost see the "What the...Oh S**T" look on its face. Unfortunatley nobody got a shot off because the farmer whos place we where hunting owned a golden retriever and this all happened so fast we all thought it was his dog until it was too late. We have also had coyotes come out of the woods to eye our spread from a few hundred yards away. I don't know if I would specifically set out a bunch of goose decoys to hunt coyotes, but I do keep an eye out for them while goose hunting.

I know I have seen a ton of coyotes while hunting snows. Now I will keep a hand full of dead coyote loads in my blind bag for such an ocasion. A couple of times I have switched to a rabbit sound and they would come hard until they were 60yds. then would usually run away. I bet if you had a lonley goose decoy 40 yds. from the main spread with a foxpro under it they come running to it.

If you are a early summer hunter, you might try placing a hen mallard floater (keel cut off) or field decoy in the grass by a pond and start some loan hen quacks. I bet you'd get the coons, foxes and coyotes running.
