has anyone done or had done the duracoat signature snow finish on any of your firearms? i was thinking about haveing a stock done but i was wanting to modify the pattern a little. didnt know if you could even do any modification to the patterns. lee

I have done several guns with the duracoat, never the snow pattern. You can modify the patterns anyway you want to. Colors, pattern layout, whatever. You can make your own stencils also. They sell the stencil material, I however use painters tape or pin striping tape it is cheaper.

who can i pay to do it. if you cant tell i dont trust myself. are you guys familiar with mcmillan stocks? i like the desert camo and the snow camo they offer. that is what i want my stock to look like. lee

Duracoat is very easy to do you just need an airbrush and air source, that can be in cans or a small compressor. Onew other thing is a quiet place to leave the parts while cureing and you want to let as day or two go by between coats. The instructions are easy to follow as well. And as has been said they can be changed if you want
