E-Scale Vibration Killing Pad

So my reloading kit will be here by Christmas I got the Lyman Crusher II deluxe kit comes with the xp100 scale. I have been reading a lot about getting the most out of a digital scale and I came across a site about diamond scales. They say you should mount the scale on a Anti vibration pad (looks like a rubber mat) The theory is that how ever minute vibrations will cause the scale to drift everything from the fridge turning on to a fan in the bathroom going. So do any of you use some type of Isolation pad for your E-scales? It makes since and for 3 bucks the pads are cheap online. rp

I don't use a digital scale for weighing powder charges. Too much hassle. I use beam balance scales for that.
I do have a digital scale for weighing cases, bullets and rimfire ammo.

John thanks for the info I may just have to try it they just look like a rubber mouse pad lol.

Marty I understand the hassle in a digital scale but I also understand some of the benefits to them. But the first sign of trouble or inaccuracy I will be looking for a balance beam scale RP

I would have to agree with using them. A balance beam scale wears if you
leave the beam on due to vibrations in the ground. ( least that is what the
instructions say)

They are pretty much neoprene pads with some fine metal strands woven in. Some come with ground wires and some do not. We have connected the ground wires. I have never tested their necessity, however. They do reduce vibration effectively.
