Went out for a quicky just out of town last night and was able to knock one down in about 10 minutes. 32grn v-max at 3800 out of my 204. Walked up to it and saw it looked weird.Tail looked like a puppies tail,just fuzzy and the body looked smooth not shaggy like normal. Looked at the belly which looked white instead of orangey like mange so was like wtf. Then I remembered watching the guys on coyote culture shooting one like it and saying it’s from laying down in wet snow and having their long hair freezing down. They get up and leave a hair body imprint in the snow. She looked like she’d done it a few times. Anyway no pic cause I don’t carry my phone figuring to take pics when I get back to the truck and she stayed in the field. Broke a streak of bad luck,with Murphy screwing up my last 4 coyotes in the last couple weeks.
