Easiest Spotlight Hood?

This may be the easiest hood yet. I bought a couple of foam sheets at the craft store. It's Creative Hands # 15200-55 black foam sheet. It's 12"x18". You'll need two sheets for most spotlights. Duct-tape the two pieces together and wrap it around your spotlight. Duct-tape it in place and you're ready to hunt. It weighs next to nothing, cushions the front edge of the light, is quiet and my favorite; CHEAP! Here's a link to an on-line store: http://www.sunshinecrafts.com/search.php I think any craft or hobby store should have it though. Oh, and no more looking all over for a can, bucket or whatever that will fit your light. Wrap it, tape it and hunt!

If your light does not get real hot. Try a 2" or wider knitted head band. We bought a couple of these last year for ear warmers for my daughter. If light gets extremly hot this will not work so please use caution / common sense if trying this. Don't want to start any fires!
