ARE YOU IN THE TOP 2% OF INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD? SOLVE THE RIDDLE AND FIND OUT.

There are no tricks, just pure logic, so good luck and don't give up.

1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours.
2. In each house lives a person of different nationality

THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?

HINTS

1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.

While ya'll were trying to figure it out the cat left the yellow house and ate the fish in the green house, the dog in the white house heard the commotion and started barking making the horse kick down the fence and scaring the Dane into spilling his tea. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

Oh come on admit it. You used a search engine to find the answer just as I did. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

WEASE!!! What would old Albert think of that!?!?!?!

You cheaters. I spent three hours last night working on that, getting really close to the end, then finding a couple mistakes I made and nearly killing myself. Now what do I do with the spreadsheet?

Once you figure out which color of house is where, it all goes into place, with alot of thinkin that is. I could explain my thinkin, but that would take more time than just doin the thinkin.

I got it in about 30 minutes this morning /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif, but I have been addicted to those Soduko number logic games lately. I think that working on any logic problems teaches you to organize the information up front making things fall into place easier later on. Great post. Thanks for the mental gymnastics. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I know I'm in the top 2% /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif. I just waited for you guys to figure it out and now I have the answer with no thinking involved /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif. Pretty sharp, huh /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif?
