Electronic Coyote calls

Wanting to do more coyote hunting and I don't think my old Foxpro FX3 really is at the tip of the spear..

If I'm willing to drop the coin for a Foxpro Shockwave is there anything else I should be looking at instead? Same price but better, or lower price and equal.. doesn't have to be foxpro..

Thanks

I’m not even close to an expert. But, I just bought the x24. The Xwave or x24 seem to be the two best choices to me. I have had 5 Foxpro units. They keep getting better. And, bigger haha.

If your only considering a new Foxpro the X24 is it but IMO id look for a different option, IMO the range of the TX1000 is a joke and they have done zero to improve it.

The TX1000 is awesome. I have never had one single problem with it. I had tons of problems before the TX1000 came out.

I'd bet your fx3 will call just as many coyotes as a new call will. I know I don't use half the features on my shockwave and wished I would have kept my fusion and pocketed the money spent instead.

i have to agree with crapshoot on this one. Unless there is something wrong with it, stick with it.

I really like my shockwave and have zero issues with the TX 1000 remote. Having said that, I called in a lot of coyotes with my FX 3 when I had it. Called even more with my Scorpion. I regretted selling my Scorpion but lucked out and got the last one Fox Pro had sitting on the shelf last year. Can’t say the latest and greatest of any call is better than the old ones.

Through the years I have upgraded my F3 to F5.
Still use it as my go-to caller. I have added an extra speaker for more depth. The extra speaker cut the battery life in half but is worth it.

I’ve seen that too…lost my crossfire to an unfortunate friendly fire incident. All of the newer calls I’ve tried don’t quite sound as good and I sure haven’t called in as much with the replacement…of course I’m not blaming the call…the caller has a lot do with it…could also just be coincidence…

this^^^^ they just keep making them bulkier to pack in and out. they need to start designing them smaller

What’s the main reason you think your call isn’t “at the tip of the spear” ?? I’m asking why you’re switching? Is it because of sounds? Just want something new? Etc.
