Elk cow or calf distress sounds

Something has been preying on the elk calf's up where I hunt and I would like to put a stop to what ever it is. So, I was wondering if anybody new if there is a predator calling Tape or CD available with elk cow/calf distress sounds on it.

Any idea what it is? Have you seen any kills new enough to give you a clue?

Can you tell where the predator starting eating the kill? Did they enter the body cavity through the stomach area, or through the anal end of the animal? That is importand. Also, did it appear that it may have started feeding on the nose, or head of the animal first?

Cow and calf distress are easy to mimmic (sp?) Get a hold of me an I will show you how. Been meaning to give you one of my bear calls so now I will make you a cow/calf call as well.
