EOG NVG Counter Weight

I got my counter weight today. silly question, how do you attach the velcro to the helmet? I would have thought that it would have a backing that peeled off, but either my eyes are so bad I can't see it or it doesn't have one. does this need to be heated or am I missing something else? a little help would be appreciated!

Get some industrial strength Velcro if your helmet does not already have it. I installed mine using the industrial strength velcro I got from Amazon.

it came with velcro strip already attached but the half that goes on the helmet was the issue. didn't see how to attach it.

Get the other half from industrial velcro and put it on the helmet...
