I've seen prairie dogs eating shot prairie dogs. Same with gophers.
Saw a ermine dragging a rabbit across a road he stopped to rest.....ate a couple of bites of rabbit, then took off dragging again.
Watched a coyote kill a big horn ewe and start to eat it BANG!!!! He didn't get to eat very much!!!!! I've seen coyotes eating horses, cows, sheep, deer, fawn antelope and a fox.
Eagles about like the coyotes. They're realy hard on deer and antelope fawns in June and July. One time I saw an eagle diving on an antelope fawn. The fawn was going all out when he came to a fence. He hit the fence like it was a brick wall and fell back. The eagle was so close and didn't have time to pull out of his dive and he crashed into the ground. Both of them were stunned for a few minutes. The fawn got away on that one.
I was hunting bear several years ago when I came upon a bunch of cows staring into the timber. There was a dead cow laying by the cows. All the sudden a grizzly comes out of the timber and the cattle scattered. The grizz walked over to the dead cow. Grabbed her by the udder, lifted her back end off the ground, put his foot on her leg and just ripped off her udder and started munching.
