Example of PETA Members 'Thinking'

Just in today. A self-proclaimed PETA member objected to the statement by another person who thought that while he did not hunt, hunting is a sport and so long as the hunter operates within the laws & regulations he saw no reason to object.

This was the response:

"I object. It is cruel. Nobody needs to hunt now days. We have this thing called the supermarket!"

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried, it's just too good. Just keep in mind the old saying, "Nothing is foolproof, becuase fools are so ingenious." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Unreal!Just goes to show the kind of "intelligence" we're up against.

I'll bet the PETA freak was so appalled she ran right out to her fully loaded BMer with leather seats to retreive her Gucci leather checkbook and make another donation. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I had a conversation with lady several years ago who told me I shouldn't hunt because I could just buy meat at the grocery store and that way no animales would die. After I got my jaw off the floor I tried to explain to her that beef in the grocery store ment a cow had to die and pork in the grocery store ment a pig had to die, She informed me that I was wrong because grocery store meat is all made in a factory somewhere. She couldn't tell me where this factory was, but I don't think she ever did believe me.
How do you talk to people this stupid? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
