Excellent Nikon Warranty Service

Nikon far exceeded their written warranty and replaced a faulty pair of binoculars with a more expensive and higher quality pair for me. The quality and quickness of the service astounded me.

A few folks here may remember that I had a dispute with Nikon over warranty years ago when I felt that they let me down. I was talking to a Nikon rep at the Sportsman’s Show in Puyallup, WA earlier this year and mentioned that I love Nikon optics but didn’t trust the warranty. He asked my story, then told me to send the problem binoculars in again. He said that they would make it right. He said that Nikon has revamped their warranty and made it vastly better. I delayed and almost didn’t send the binoculars in because I didn’t expect a positive response. Wow! Was I ever wrong. The Nikon rep was right about the excellence of current Nikon warranty and service.

Nikon has the best optics for the money, to my eyes anyway. And they have a warranty to match.

No one asked me to post this, but I felt it only fair to give praise where it is due, in a place where I have criticized them in the past.

Lost a cap off of my rifle scope last yr. They sent me a new one, no charge. Good service.

Thanks alot for this post. I have been meaning to get a Nikon scope, but have heard alot of bad reports on their customer service here on the board so I have been a little leary about getting one. I will feel confident now to go ahead and get one the next time the need arises. Thanks again.

I have had many problems with nikon. To the point that I will not have another nikon scope. Very poor service when you try to deal with them. I have not nad very good luck with them, glad to hear that someone has!!

makes me nervous with all the old reports. i own all nikon equipment binocs 3 scopes a digital camera and a rangefinder. i just sent in a pair of monarch binocs the twist up caps broke (plastic) and the loops for the strap also broke(plastic). I let them know i wasnt happy about a $300 pair of Supposed to be ALL TERRAIN BINOCS that had all that plastic on them. We will see how they respond.
