Experience with Bass Pro's "Pursuit" brand optics?

So, due to having 2 kids, constant medical bills for two of us, and living in an expensive state (would move but the wife is firmly entrenched

) im on a strict budget. I need gear to get going so i tried to get the best i could afford.

All of my hunting optics (except rifle scope, thats a Nikon Prostaff) are Pursuit brand exclusive to Bass Pro. I have the camo, 10X42 camo bino, the 10X42 monocular and the 20-40X50 spotting scope (which, apparently, they dont carry anymore). I bought each on decent sales, didnt pay full price for any of them.

Recently, after about a year? year & a 1/2, the Pursuit binos had issues where the left side wouldnt focus. I had cared for and kept it cased constantly as to keep it working well & did not abuse it.

In defense of Bass Pro, i didnt have the reciept, but did have the box and they did do an exchange for it, much to their credit! that "bought" me a good deal of loyalty to them and im grateful!

Having said that, if any of you have had experience with Pursuit optics good or bad, i would really like to hear from you! this will let me know if i can leisurely or frantically save for replacement optics either sooner or later to move up one step to Nikon or something.

Thanks everybody!

I was and am still like you( on a strict budget, retirement does that, kid is on his own) but save your money and when you can buy quality everything. You will have less trouble, most of the time, and if you want to trade or resale it will be better for you. I've bought cheap stuff(not calling yours cheap)and got cheap. I guess what I'm saying is save up and buy good quality. I have Nikon optics, scopes, binoculars, and a laser rangefinder but if you can, step up to higher quality. All my Nikons have served me well. Are you a casual user or hunt with them all the time? It's like tools. Buy something to last. Long Winded Post Over. Best thing is to enjoy your time outdoors.
