Tannerite is alot of fun, however I would not be using it to "blow up" any type of animal, not only is it illegal but it is in-humane.
Its EXACTLY that kind of stuff that the PETA folks glomb onto to to show how us hunters are nothing but "brutal savages".
However if used properly and safely it really is alot of fun!!
If you are going to "blow things up" I would suggest using it on vegetables as mentioned earlier, if you use anything that is "rigid" ... say a plastic pale or anything along that line there is always a chance of flying shrapnel... very bad!!!
One little flying piece to your corotid and its all over!!
