External speaker for foxpro fusion

I don't think it is a matter of which is better. I use the SP60 with the Fusion, the CS-24C, and the Shockwave. You might prefer the SP70 if you are using the Krakatoa II like Bob Aronsohn, the great crow hunter. You are talking about extreme volume with that setup. I can't imagine needing that much volume for coyotes.

You are more than welcome. Glad to be of help. Keep us posted about your setup when you get everything in and organized.

I don't know if that is accurate. I feel like it is a very balanced choice to pair up with the onboard horn speaker on the Fusion, and will surely make it approximately twice as loud due to both channels operating. It also is well balanced with the CS-24C or the Shockwave. The Fusion onboard horn is very loud and clear, but you widen the sound pattern when you add that SP60. You will like it a bunch.

Fusion + sp60 is a sick combo!! I have it mounted so the sound is going in three directions. That is every direction except directly towards me. Covers better than the shockwave.

hammer0419, evidently you are using both the onboard horn and the onboard cone in conjunction with your SP60. I am not condemning that, but I don't like to use the cone speaker for purposes it is not well suited for. If you read everything about the onboard cone, you'll see it handles mammal sounds and the like in a superior manner. It does not work as well for the typical distress sounds used commonly for coyote calling. There are others, including Mike Dillon, who use both onboard speakers, so you are not alone. I feel that the onboard horn and the SP60 work very well together, both well matched for the job at hand. For sure though, if you like the results you get with your setup, by all means do it.

Thanks Al. I don't always have the sp60 with me. I have a small "honey hole" I do my fox hunting at. I never need the extra speaker. I also hunt a huge farm. that is where I like the sp60. Not saying I would have success without it? But I def have success with it so no reason to stop.

I find my fusion deafening the way it is, using foxpro rechargeables. I sold both my sp-60s when I bought it.... Can't imagine needing more volume.

For me, it is not always needing more volume. I do like the ability to widen the sound cone and take advantage of the stereo amp. Some of the stereo sequences I use sound really good out of two speakers, separated by several feet.
