Extruded powder and magnum primers ??

Hi , I shoot a Rem 233 and mostly extruded powder. ( H4895 , Benchmark, IMR 8208 ) and standard primers Rem 6 1/2 or Win WSR primers . How many of you guys use a magnum primers with these powders and why do you use them ?

I use only Rem 7.5 or CCI br primers for loads over 40,000 pressure. I want the thicker cup material.

I didn't know BR primers have thicker cup material is that why people use them ?

I run cci 450 mag primers with Benchmark and H322 just workup from start. I use them because 3yrs ago when I started reloading that's all I could find. I have good loads with them and tried standard primers with the same charge and didn't really notice an accuracy difference but never chronographed it to see if it gives a higher velocity. My paper punching loads are way below max anyways.

CCI #450 is what I use for all small rifle primers. Why have all the different kinds of primers on the bench. Just makes it easy. Same goes for large primers CCI #250 is all I use.
