Another one to look at might be the new FN built M70 Tactical.
I saw one chambered in 308 that a young fellow brought to our range print the best groups I've ever witnessed with a factory rifle. That was from 100-500 yrds shooting Federal match ammo.
It spiked my interest in the new M70's enough to fondle a few at a local shop, and I gotta say that the fit and finish was very good on the half dozen that I looked at. The trigger was impressive too, and that's coming from a real trigger snob.
Definitely worth a look see IMO.
