(SALINE COUNTY, Kan) — They’ve gone from a small town in the heartland to headline makers across the nation. Eyewitness News told you about the “Peterson Farm Bros” just last week, the three brothers from Saline County recently made a music video parody called “I’m farming and a grow it”.
After it landed on YouTube the brothers got a dose of fame they were not expecting. Initially the brothers said that attention alone from local media was enough. But that was several days and several millions clicks ago. Now their hit video is nearing three million views.
“I look at that number and I can’t even comprehend”, says Greg Peterson who came up with the lyrics for the hit parody.
In the last week the brothers have been on a national morning TV talk show in New York and were approached about turning their parody song into a t-shirt.
Now for twenty bucks you can own a “Peterson Farm Bros” shirt. The site lookatmeshirts.com says they agreed to a contract with the trio, the brothers get twenty percent of all sales.
Each day a new offer is brought to them, sometimes it’s an event appearance or guest speaking spot the brothers are in demand all over the place. For the next couple of weeks they say they are going to look over all of their offers and decide what’s best for them.
