Over my years of shooting, I've owned the cheap scopes, figuring that they all 'can't be junk' and have been pleasantly surprised by some, saddened by others...
I have a couple of BSA's that, while I've heard some people curse them, mine have functioned for years without any problems..I have a couple of older Tasco's that are equally as good..
I will not deny that the chances of getting a bad scope start diminishing as you increase in price and reputation, but there are times in everyone's life when 'cheap' is all you can afford...and someone asking about a specific brand/model of anything deserves an honest and straight forward answer.....Then, if the need to pontificate overcomes you, blast away...
