The older Tascos are much better than the newer ones.
Looked through a couple BSAs and the look "yellow" to me. Saw a brand new one break 2 weeks ago. Along with 2 Simmons and 2 Tascos. All 5 in 10 hrs of helping "the public" sight in their guns at our club. Within the last 2-3 years, my friends and I have broken 2-3 Bushnells(2 Trophy, 1 Banner) 3 Burris FFII's, 1 Aetec. We use Leupold and Weaver far more and have broken none in 15 years. That's just my experience.
You are correct that everyone is entitled to an honest opinion. It's just that some don't like what they hear, I guess......
