If "a pain in the butt" is a characteristic, then I know several rodents. Might even be related to a few /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
When I was a kid we had a farmer/rancher that would pay us $.50 per each and he would furnish the ammo for us to use.
I don't know if they are as destructive as feral hogs, but in Texas javalina are considered game animals, and you are only allowed 2 per year.
DesertRam - you said you called him in. What type of call were you using? I might have to try that the next time I'm in Laredo or somewhere where they have javalina.
