I had a chance to run out to south dakota for a couple of days last weekend. I didn't get to hunt as much as I wanted, but that is another story. I hunted some land I have access to on the MO river breaks. On the second stand I had a male on a string to the fx3 playing woodpecker in distress. I took him at 30 yards with my new bushy. So I got to baptize my bushy and fx3 about 1 hour into the hunt! Family circumstances made me cut my trip short. There will be plenty of time to hunt yet this year. I am just glad to have had the chance to get started for the year!! Sorry, no pics . . . forgot the camera.
