I used to use a Weaver K4 for everything for over 20 years and LOVED it. THen I got the bug for a variable. I'm going back to a 6X Leupold w/a long range reticule. Variables are nice when shooting prairie dogs way out there, but I'm making everything simple from now on. Keep the fixed!
