I went through 3 ER1s when they started to hit the market.
I returned all 3 due to speaker issues. They did perform to 400 yards as long as I was clear and above them, that was a test though.
I liked the sounds, but the remote screen s**cked bad IMO.
I got scratchy speaker sounds on all of them.
I went FoxPro and have not looked back.
