rainshadow:I actually had a rifle submerged once and after having shaken off most of the water I went to wipe off the lens of my scope and when I flipped them up was quite surprised to find no water underneath. Perhaps moisture on the lens is developing from condensation? or a loose fitting cap? just a thought.
