Never posted in here before, but I just got a new pistol that I have wanted for a while now. I shot it today and man I am pumped! This is my first pistol to call my own, so I thought I would share it with yall and give a little review about it. Its a FN 5.7 Pistol that shoots a very fast, smaller caliber round. The round on the left is a .17hmr while the round on the right is a .22 Hornet. Obviously the spent casing is the 5.7 round. I forgot to save a round for comparison because I eh hem shot them all. whoops. Anyhow, you can see that the casing is as large or a little larger than the hornet just not quite as long. The standard mag holds 20 rounds and it actually came with three mags plus some other goodies like a cleaning kit and a few other odds and ends.

How does it shoot? Well, like a gun that costs as much as this should (I got it dirt cheap comparatively speaking though). It shoots amazing. There is almost no recoil and it's truly gonna take some discipline to not dump a mag every now and then. Anyone can pick this gun up and shoot it comfortably. Here she is!

A couple other sweet things about it is the fact that its almost completely ambidextrious with the safety selector on both sides. I also switched the mag release to the other side since I am a lefty so now its pretty much customized to me. It also has some picatinney rails that I can attatch a light/laser on, or maybe a grenade launcher later on.

Drawbacks: Smaller caliber, pretty darn loud, ammo is a little expensive but not so bad $20/50 rounds, the gun is a little pricey.

Why it's cool: Ambi, very accurate, no recoil, very well made, high capacity mag, comes in other colors (hey, I gotta accessorize)

Anyhow, hope I didn't waste yalls time, just thought I would share. Please feel free to ask questions or make comments.

Its about time you got it. Looks pretty sweet. When you going to come down this way so I could shoot it. Make sure to bring alot of ammo with you. HaHa

I had one for a while. It was more a novelty gone for me but in the end I couldnt justify the cost of gun and ammo for the limited use it got. Its a fun gun though

Trigger is single action with clean break from about 4 to 6 pounds I think. The sights are adjustable like on a rifle. Windage and elevation may also be compensated for. This gun will be for puttin down the occasional coyote that's still alive. I would also like to try it on javelina. Oh ya, it also makes for a nice suprise to stick in the face of an uninvited guest in my house. This is the firearm I will also be using for my concealed carry permit. Pitman, come on down and you can shoot it. I'll buy the ammo. In the mean time, start scouting me some bull elk! Hahahahaha

It would be the perfect handgun for yotes if he could shoot it straight. HaHaHa. J/K he's a good shot where did you put in at. You can put in with me I'm doing it tonight
