Forster Co-AX Press

Mine was pretty straight forward... where are you having a problem???

Just be sure that your shell holder is flipped to the correct side for the cases you are loading...One side is marked LS and the other is L (I think)...adjusting your case holder for the primer can be a little tedious, but if you put a case in the position and bring the ram down on the primer cup, it will center itself and then you position the clips..

There is a pointed shaft that comes up through the rear of the shell holder that separates the plates that needs to be adjusted to allow easy placement and removal of the case that you are loading and when you start to move the handle, it will allow the spring loaded plates to close on the case and center it with the die..

Nope, no problems at all. I really like it so far.

It's just a little different than anything else I've used before.
I dropped one of the little springs when I reversed the shell holder jaws the first time, but luckily I found it. I squirted a little ML breech plug grease in the slots and it holds the springs in place now.

That is the only thing about the Co-Ax I don't like but as said above it is pretty easy use. Good luck and have fun, Dave

Yep, I'm liking it better all the time. The priming attachment seems to be super consistent on seating depth.
It sure would be nice to have another one set up for .223 only.

I have had mine a little over a year and had not used the primer because I always use a Lee hand tool but I did not have a shell holder for a 6.8SPC case so I set-up the primer and its really a nice way to prime if your not doing a bunch.

Yep, I've got 2 Lee priming tools....one for LR and one for SR primers and they've always worked fine. I think I'll use the one on the press now just for the consistency. They are supposed to seat to a .005 depth every time.

They do,,, The thing I like about it over the hand held is that I haven't crushed a primer in a long time...

I hate it when I have a good group going and then get a 'click' due to the primer being crushed... I'd hate if even worse if I had a nice predator in my cross hairs and it happened...
