I am thinking about purchasing this press . I am new to reloading , and I was wondering what you all think of this press ? Would I be able to reload my 300 Weatherby with this press ? I have read that it may have clearance problems reloading the big magnums. Any feedback , good , or bad , would be appreciated. Thanks

It is the best press on the market for the handloader using normal threaded dies...bar none. I have loaded plenty of .300 Wby, with no clearance issues. I have had some difficulty with some 378 Wby, that had a very long OAL. I was still able to load them, you just have to watch the ends of your fingers as you hold the bullet in the die before you slip the case into the shell holder. My shop now uses 12 of the Co-Ax presses.

The perfect press in my opinion. I don't load much big stuff anymore, but I have loaded a bunch in the 20yrs. I've owned mine. I really love it.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will be ordering one soon. Anyone know offhand who has the best price on this press ?

Since I am brand new to reloading , what other equipment do I need to start reloading with this press ? I will be reloading 300WBY, 30:06 , 223 , 22/250 to start. Any help , or suggestions , would be appreciated. Thanks

MJVAN.....welcome to PM...the yoke was re-designed a few years back to accomodate ICBM-type cartridges such as 30-378WBY & micrometer equipped seating dies...when ordering just ask to make sure your get'n the newer version press...try graff&sons, natchez,or mid-south...you will love it.
